“Mm…”

The soft morning light gently caressed my eyelids. When I woke up that morning, I felt incredibly refreshed. The chirping of small sparrow-like birds outside the window made me feel as if they were celebrating a new morning.

“Right, Fiona and I…”

After I doused my head with hot shower, I finally felt comfortable.

“It feels like a dream…”

It went well.

…I didn’t think it’d go this well, though.

Nell Julius Elrod. The first princess of Avalon, a royalty. Kurono really made a good friend.

“Should I call her Cupid of Love from now on? Looks like that pair of wings wasn’t only for show.”

Actually, she’s nothing more than a clown.

I’d heard about that woman from Lily. Lily said that Nell was basically a chicken in heat.

“Not like I don’t understand how she feels.”

Until now, Lily was the one who dealt with Nell’s antics. Someone as uptight as Lily must’ve disliked Nell a lot, considering that princess often came on too strong to Kurono. Lily was keen on keeping Nell from laying a finger on Kurono, to the point that I didn’t even need to lift a hand.

However, now that Lily was gone, I had to deal with Nell myself.

Considering that the Galahad war ended in Sparda’s complete victory, and Kurono returned safely, I had predicted that someone from Avalon would arrive soon.

Therefore, Nell’s movement could be predicted if I let our servant monitor the area around the dormitory. Moreover, Nell was also a seminary student, so she knew where the dormitory was. If she wanted to visit Kurono, she’d just boldly go through the main gate. As such, finding her was a child’s play.
